Three members have recently achieved Level 3 Equi Rapport with Susan Walsh at Etal. They are Mary & Cracker, Cheryl & Thunder, Alison & Kassie, see photo page 1. Congratutlations. They also have a small video on You Tube

Three members of the club recently travelled to Titwood, Ayrshire to take part in the Hunter Trial Qualifier competition. The team, comprising Ellen Edgar (MacDuff), Leah Fleming (Shawhill Hayboy) and Robin MacTaggart (Irishman's Song) did extremely well to win the novice team competition. All three put in superb fast clear rounds to win, beating the home team Ayr into second place. Robin was also second individual and Ellen fifth individual. The team has qualified to go south to the Riding Club Championships in 2008. Congratulations and thank you for making the journey to Titwood!

The Members day was held on Sunday 9th September at Marigold by kind permission of Mr Calder and Doreen. The weather was kind 
and the day went well, the cross country course was beautifully built by Jimmy Feeney who excelled himself this year with no less than 27 
fences. The proceeds of the day will go to the Berwick Branch of the Alzheimers Society. Thanks to all the helpers who made the day possible.

Area 1 Novice Show Jumping at St Boswells 24th June
The Novice team (Doreen Calder, Suzanne Smith, Judith Anderson and Robin MacTaggart) did well to finish 2nd. Suzanne was 2nd individual and Jenny Christie was 5th individual
The intermediate team consisted of Amy Brown, Claire Rutherford and Julie Seymour; Claire finishing 2nd individual.
The style jumping (Amy Brown, Claire Rutherford, Suzanne Smith and Jenny Christie) were 4th, with Suzanne finishing 5nd individual. 

Area 1 Novice Horse Trials at Oatridge 16th June
Amy Brown won the Open. The novice team consisted of Doreen Calder, Jenny Christie and Sarah Allan, and Amy also went as an intermediate individual.

Novice Dressage Area Competition 3rd June at Greenfields of Avondale
The team of Jenny Christie, Sarah Allan, Leah Fleming and Alison Isles finished 4th out of 20 teams which is an excellent result. Leah won the Riding test  and Sarah was second - well done and thank you for travelling such a long way!
