Brilliant results from the teams and individuals at the weekend, very well done everyone who went to Morris Equestrian and of course their wonderful horses, also thanks Pat Watt and Kirsten Duff for volunteering to be our helpers for the day, without you we would not have been able to compete. Area 1 Show Jumping Qualifiers at Morris Equestrian in December 2018

Two teams represented SLRC, Cindy Crossman, Vicky Warcup and Caroline Stewart competed at 80cm but were unlucky not to be placed. Jenny Foster, Fiona Ritchie and Caroline Stewart jumped 90cm and did very well to finish 4th.

Very big thank you to Liz Ward & Laura Brown who gave up their day to be stewards at the competition. Without these helpers our members cannot compete - we are very grateful to you both!

South Lammermuir 2018 Championships

Cindy Crossman travelled to Swalcliffe as an individual for the Horse Trials championships the first weekend in August. In very high temperatures they completed and both horse & rider had a fabulous time. Thank you Cindy & your team of helpers for representing the club.

Our show jumping team of Jenny Foster, Liz Ward, Fiona Ritchie and Jenny Christie competed at Lincoln on the 1st September and finished in 6th place - an excellent result. Jenny Reid represented the club as an individual dressage competitor and was placed 10th which was great. Gary and Claudia were kept busy working in the arena party. Huge thanks to Gillies transport for getting the five horses there and back so efficiently.
